Losing altitude? I’m noticing that by this week we all seem weary. We’re tired of being good sports, adapting and innovating, sheltering in place, getting basic supplies, and homeschooling.Time to talk about intentional mood management. A friend of mine notes that after watching an hour of COVID-19 news he usually feels very low and discouraged, and that if he takes his dog out for a walk, he just as reliably experiences an uptick in his mood. I don’t have a dog but going out in my garden and taking care of the plants provides the same reliable uplift of spirits for me as his dog walk does.
